Dr. Carissa Doherty, ND
Dr. Carissa Doherty, ND completed her premedical studies at the University of Guelph obtaining a Specialized Honours degree in Bio-Medical Toxicology. During her undergraduate years, Carissa was fortunate enough to be one of the first people in Canada to work in product development with inulin, a complex carbohydrate, now used widely in the supplement industry as a pleasant tasting fibre.
In 2002, Carissa received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and remains a member in good standing to this day.
Dr. Carissa Doherty, ND, and her sister Dr. Sonya Doherty, ND founded Natural Care Clinic in Burlington in 2005. The Natural Care Clinic is an internationally recognized centre of care and education. The Natural Care Clinic team is committed to improving awareness about chronic disease and how Naturopathic Medicine can improve quality of life. Their approach to treating chronic illness has become world renowned drawing patients to the Natural Care Clinic from all over Ontario, Canada, the United States, Asia and Europe. The Natural Care Clinic team, led by Dr. Carissa Doherty ND, provides educational conferences for health care providers focused on management of complex disorders.
In addition to a general family practice, Dr. Carissa Doherty takes a special interest in Lyme disease and chronic infections, methylation medicine and environmental medicine.

Dr. Sonya Doherty, ND
Dr. Sonya Doherty, ND, has been practicing as a Naturopathic Doctor since 2003, after completing her pre-medical studies at the University of Western Ontario and her post graduate Naturopathic training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Sonya, ND, has trained with the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS). The MAPS education is a comprehensive training program for healthcare providers at the forefront of medical treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Dr. Sonya, ND, is extremely passionate about biomedical treatment and has treated thousands of children diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders.
She is an international speaker and lectures extensively on autism, PANS/PANDAS, POTS, ADHD and other developmental concerns.

Dr. Nasreen Vojdani, ND
Dr. Nasreen Vojdani, ND, obtained her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003. Prior to her doctoral studies, she pursued Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph, combining her passion for health with a commitment to sustainability.
Dr. Vojdani is a registered member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and has been a longstanding member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). With over 20 years of clinical experience, she has treated a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to the elderly. Additionally, she has supervised interns at the teaching lab of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Her commitment lies in assisting patients and their families in transforming their health by identifying and addressing the underlying root causes of their health challenges. She is devoted to incorporating evidence-based and current clinical research in functional medicine, to provide comprehensive and personalized care for each family member.
Dr. Vojdani has extensive training in various health areas, including pediatrics, women’s health, fertility, autism, ADHD, digestive health, autoimmune conditions, and diabetes. This broad knowledge base enables her to deliver versatile and comprehensive healthcare solutions.
As a devoted mother of two, Dr. Vojdani balances her professional and personal life, bringing her nurturing spirit to both her practice and her family.
