Ghormez sabzi
Chop two medium onions and a bulb of garlic
In a frying pan, out onions and garlic down – put chicken thighs on top
Salt and pepper the top of the chicken thighs
Sauté on low until chicken in doneIn separate pan
Cut up a full celery
Sauté in olive oil until softAdd some tomato paste or tomato sauce or diced tomatoes to the chicken
Add a little water so that you are getting the chicken to cook slowly in the sauceAdd pan 1 and 2 together
Add 1-4 TBSP turmeric.
Cook on low heat until all water is gone and you have a nice sauce
Add in juice from 1-3 lemons } closer to the end
Add in Italian parsley and mint (I use 1-2 fresh mint packages and one full parsley) } closer to the end
Add more salt if needed
Cook for another 10 minutes
